Biking to golfing event

a choice of golf clubs

Golf is easy isn’t it?  Get a set of clubs, hit the ball up the fairway and Bobs your uncle.  Though it isn’t quite as straight forward as things may appear, for one, hitting the ball isn’t quite as simple as it looks.  Just getting the ball off the tee can caused a few problems in its self.  A good place to start practicing golf is the driving range, where you can pick up a basket of balls and practice knocking each one off the tee one by one, the first few off the tea may be a little shaky, but it is worth persisting, as practice does make perfect in the end.  Driving range’s typically look like a large stage, which is covered by a top (so that the area is weather proof).  The balls can be bought from a vending machine, and there are sectioned bays on the platform with tees on each one.  The balls come in a bucket and you simply hit the balls one by one, to see how far each one of them goes.  There are markers up the field, specifying how many metres the ball has been hit.

Prices for balls at the driving range are quite cheap, plus it’s a good way of keeping the kids entertained on a Sunday for all them bored dads looking for something to do.  Once you have mastered your swing, and the ball is at least travelling up the field, then a good place to start practicing play is on a 9 hole course, where any member of the public can play a small round of golf without having to commit to a full golf club membership.  Once you have mastered the basic rules, then it is time to progress, a good set of golf clubs (Golfschläger) and golf balls (Golfbälle) are essential when playing golf on the next level, as you may be competing with people who have being playing for years.

Another good way to practice this sport, is to indulge in one of the many adventure holidays out there which offer weekends away indulging in favourite outdoor sports such as golfing and biking.
